➤The scheme aims to cover over 50 crore (500 million) people, primarily targeting economically vulnerable families identified as per the Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) database.
➤Health Insurance Coverage: Ayushman Bharat provides health insurance coverage of up to ₹5 lakh (5 hundred thousand rupees) per family per year. The coverage extends to a wide range of medical treatments, including surgeries, diagnostic tests, medications, and hospitalization expenses.
