👉Inspector (B) – 2 Vacancies: For those aiming for leadership roles, there are 2 openings for the position of Inspector (B).
👉Sub-Inspector (B) – 60 Vacancies: Aspiring candidates looking to make an impact can choose from 60 vacancies for Sub-Inspectors (B).
👉Head Constable (B) – 70 Vacancies: For individuals with a passion for maintaining order and safety, 70 positions are available for Head Constables (B).

Education Qualification
(A) Civil Education (For all posts): The minimum educational requirement is HSLC or its equivalent.
(B) Service Qualification:
(i) For Constables & Head Constables: If you’ve retired in the rank of Sepoy to Havildar from the Army or an equivalent rank from the Navy or Air Force, you’re eligible to apply.
(ii) For Sub-Inspectors & Inspectors: Those who retired with the rank of Naib Subedar or above in the Army or an equivalent rank in the Navy or Air Force can apply for these positions.
Note: Ex-Servicemen who retired as Havildar or in an equivalent rank, but with 15 years or more of service, have the option to apply for the Sub-Inspector position instead of Constable/Head Constable, but not for both.
Age Limit for Assam Police Recruitment
Age Eligibility Criteria: The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years aMaximum Age: You should be no older than 50 years as of 01-01-2023. This means your birth date should fall on or after 01.01.1973.
Age Relaxation: Category wise upper age relaxation will be as follows.
