Gauhati University PG Admission 2022
Gauhati University is a well known higher education initiation of Assam. Every year, Gauhati University conducts an entrance test called Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) to select meritorious students for admission to various postgraduate courses. Similarly, the short notification regarding the GU PGET 2022 has been released by the university on 15th June 2022. According to the official notification, the Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET)-2022 will be conducted in 11 centres of North Eastern states for admission to postgraduate courses under Gauhati University and affiliated colleges for the academic year 2022-2023.

Eligibility Criteria of GU PG Admission
Gauhati University will accept the application for Post Graduate Entrance Test, 2022 thorough the official online application portal. Students who satisfy the following eligibility criteria and are willing to complete their postgraduate course from Gauhati University will be able to submit their online applications on the GU portal.
1. MA and MSc Courses
To get admission in Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Science (MSc), a student must possess any one of the qualifications listed below.
| 1 | BA / BSc in the 10+2+3 pattern with Major/ Honours in the concerned subject. |
| 2 | BCom in the 10+2+3 pattern with at least 45% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in aggregate in the General Course. |
Note: 45% marks will be calculated on the basis of marks obtained in Part-I & II for courses in 2+1-pattern and on the basis of marks obtained in Part I, II, & III in case of 1+1+1 pattern.
2. MCom Course
To get admission in Master of Commerce (MCom), a student must possess any one of the qualifications listed below.
| 1 | BCom in the 10+2+3 pattern with Major course. |
| 2 | BA/ BSc in the 10+2+3 pattern with General/ Pass Course subjects with at least 45% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in the concerned subject. |
Other Details of GU PG Admission
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay non-refundable Rs.400/- as application fee to complete their application for the Post Graduate Entrance Test to be conducted by Gauhati University. Payment of application fee to be done through the online mode of payments.

How to Apply for GU PG Admission?
Eligible and interested students can submit their online application for admission in two year post graduate course of Gauhati University through the official GU portal. As per the official notification, online applications will be accepted from 20th June 2022.
