Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be Class VIII Passed and not above Class-XII (HSSLC).
- Must be physically fit with sound health to send documents/ files to various Offices within the University as well as outside the campus, etc.
- Must have knowledge of operating a Photocopier Machine.
- Must know driving (both two-wheeler and four-wheeler).
Age Limit (Posts No 4 to 7): Applicants should not be above 40 years for UR, 42 years for OBC/MOBC, and 43 years for SC/ST as of 01.07.2023. The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the date of birth available in the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.

Citizenship: Applicants must hold Indian citizenship.
Medical Fitness: Candidates must possess sound mental and physical health. A certificate, signed by the District Medical Officer or Registered Medical Officer of the Government of Assam, attesting to their medical fitness, should be provided by individuals appointed as Assistant Professors prior to joining.
Character Certificate: Applicants applying for the position of Assistant Professor, who are not currently employed, should include a certificate of good character from the head of the institution they last attended or served.

Positions 1 to 3: The UR category applicants are required to pay an application processing fee of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) only, while reserved category applicants must pay Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) only. The application fees are non-refundable.
