National Scholarship 2023: The Pre matric and Post Matric scholarships are available to bonafide citizens of India studying class 1 to class 12. The central and state governments fund the scholarship for students studying at a government-recognized school & College. The objective is to provide them with economic aid and prevent school & College dropouts due to financial challenges. The scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination and the annual income of their parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh.
Pre-Matric & Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme Objectives
The scholarship at the pre-matric Pre Matric & Post Matric Scholarship level will encourage parents from minority communities to send their school going to school and College Students, lighten their financial burden on school education and sustain their efforts to support their children to complete school education. The scheme will form the foundation for their educational attainment and provide a level playing field in the competitive employment arena. Empowerment through education, which is one of the objectives of this scheme, has the potential to lead to the upliftment of the socio-economic conditions of the minority communities.

How to Apply for Pre Matric & Post Matric Scholarship?

| ➤Now, an official web portal will load in the new tab of your browser. |
| ➤In that portal, you will get the option to register yourself. |
| ➤Note that you do not need to register again if you are renewing your scholarship. |
| ➤After registration, you have to provide all your asked details. |
| ➤After that a page containing your Student Application ID will be displayed, please note down that ID for future use and click on Continue button. |
| ➤Now, a login form will load. In that form, enter your User ID, Password (was sent to your registered mobile number), verify the Captcha and click on the orange coloured Login button. |
| ➤After successful login, you will get a form. Where you need to fill your Registration Details, Academic Details and Basic Details. |
| ➤After filling those details, click on Save and Continue button. |
| ➤Now, you will have to fill Contact Details, Scheme Details and Upload Documents. |
| ➤After that, click on green coloured Final Submit button. |
| ➤Now, a page with all your filled details will appear. Click on the Print button to take a copy of submitted application. |
| ➤After that, go to your institute or college and submit that printed application acknowledgment copy along with all the relevant documents demanded by your institute or college. |
