Assam’s Education Minister, Ranoj Pegu, also affirmed this announcement via his official Twitter account. The minister declared, “Students who did not pass the HSLC Examination, 2023 are obligated to re-enroll in Class X for regular classes. Only then will they be eligible to take subsequent examinations?
Students have the option to seek admission to the same schools where they previously appeared for the HSLC examination in 2023. In cases where the original school cannot provide re-enrollment, students may enroll in any other school within the same center where they took the exam.

The registration number will remain unchanged, and students will have to use the same registration number for subsequent examinations.
