Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has released the official admission notification for Assam ANM Admission 2026 for admission to ANM courses in Government ANM Training Schools under the Directorate of Health Services (FW), Government of Assam.
For the academic session 2026–2027, a total of 369 seats are available across 11 Government ANM Training Schools in Assam. Admission will be based on the ANM Entrance Examination (ANMEE) 2026, which is scheduled to be held on 11 October 2026.
Eligible female candidates can submit their applications online through the official SSUHS admission portal until 27 September 2026.

Assam ANM Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the required eligibility conditions before applying for the ANM entrance examination.
Citizenship
The applicant must be a citizen of India.
Permanent Resident Certificate
The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and will have to provide a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) as required.
Gender
Only female candidates are eligible to apply for the ANM course under this admission process.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age should be between 17 and 35 years as on 31 December 2026.
Age Relaxation
The upper age limit is relaxed for certain categories of workers. Anganwadi Workers, ASHA Workers and Trained Dais can apply up to the age of 42 years, subject to the applicable rules.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Class 12 (Higher Secondary) from a recognized Board.
Assam ANM Entrance Exam 2026
The admission will be conducted through the ANM Entrance Examination (ANMEE) 2026.
The examination will be conducted in OMR-based written mode. The exam is scheduled for 11 October 2026 at the following centres:
- Guwahati
- Dibrugarh
- Silchar
- Tezpur
- Dhubri
Candidates should download their admit cards and check the examination centre and other instructions carefully before appearing for the exam.
Assam ANM Admission Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay the prescribed examination fee while submitting the online application. However, the application fee for the 2026–2027 session has not yet been officially announced.
