SIRISH Scholarship 2025-26: Tea Tribes & Adivasi Welfare Schemes in Assam
The Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare (TTWD), under the Government of Assam, is the Adivasi welfare society responsible for implementing various schemes aimed at improving the socio-economic conditions of the Tea Tribes and Adivasi communities. These include educational scholarships, skill development and entrepreneurship programs, self-employment grants, financial support for women SHGs, and more.
To streamline the application process and reduce paperwork, Assam Honorable Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma and the Tea directorate has introduced the SIRISH Portal in the 2020-21 financial year. Since then, all applications for scholarships and welfare schemes are being accepted online through this portal.
